Carl Vaz

Served as National President of Skal India (2020–2022, 2022–2024), representing over 1,300 professionals across aviation, hospitality, education, travel and media sectors.

Carl is a management graduate with postgraduate qualifications in Business Management, Advertising and Public Relations. He completed the International Corporate Directorship Program (ICD) at the Directors Institute, World Council of Directors, and holds advanced certification in AI and Business Analytics from Oxford University Said Business School.

Prior to founding Charson Advisory in 2007, Carl worked with iB&W, Grey Worldwide, Pratibha Advertising and JWT. His portfolio included brands such as ModiLuft, Parle, The Leela Group, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra, Videocon, SANDOZ, Bajaj Auto and Dubai Tourism.

Varghese Oommen

Varghese focuses on government relations, enterprise partnerships, tourism alliances and institutional strategy development.

He connects public sector frameworks with private innovation ecosystems, coordinating with tour operators, hospitality groups, state agencies and enterprise networks to build scalable tourism and engagement strategies.

His leadership strengthens institutional collaborations, alliance tourism frameworks and multi-stakeholder ecosystem partnerships across emerging markets.

Joshua Ninan Oommen

Joshua Ninan Oommen is a technology entrepreneur focused on building AR-powered digital ecosystems and immersive engagement platforms, including the UXplore spatial discovery platform. Alongside Abin Mathews Benny, a full-stack Unity developer and AR specialist, Joshua has led the development of UXplore’s immersive models, gamification systems and AR interaction frameworks, with Abin serving as a core technical team member from the project’s earliest stages.

Joshua served as Regional Music Consultant and lead representative for Shazam Entertainment across Southeast Asia Pacific based in Malaysia, supporting digital music partnerships and artist discovery initiatives.

He later worked as Regional Area Manager and Technology Sales Specialist for Putti Apps New Zealand, securing enterprise clients across retail, FMCG and F&B sectors.

Joshua also served as Project Manager for the RailWire Public WiFi initiative under RailTel India, helping deploy one of India’s early location-based WiFi broadcasting services in Kerala under the leadership of Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament.

He collaborated with Spectral Media and Kraken Interactive in Malaysia supporting digital marketing and social media campaigns, including initiatives connected to Tourism Malaysia.

Through his startup OliveApps Singapore, Joshua established development teams in Malaysia and Singapore delivering custom mobile applications beginning with projects within the Nokia Asia ecosystem.

Beyond technology, Joshua is also a registered songwriter, author, composer and singer associated with Times Music India.
